The NFCC chain gang will be running for the last time in 2014 this week.

Usual meeting point outside St Saviours Church in Brockenhurst

Start time 1830

Please ensure that you have lights and preferably something hi-vis on.

I won’t be there this week due to a work commitment.

Have a good ride and thanks to all those that have supported the Chain Gang in 2014. We’ll re-start in April and winter turbo sessions will resume in a few weeks.

Club "A" ride Saturday 27th September

Advance notice of next weeks ride as it will be the last of our day rides this summer.

Thanks to Neil for the route. I think it’s one of the loops Neil adds to a Saturday club ride on his way home after doing 60 miles with the rest of us J

Start point will be Burley cricket ground at 0900 Saturday
Route will be 85 miles, the additional loop on the Garmin file to Dorchester will be cut out.
Lunch stop will be at Moreton using Neil’s knowledge of a nice cafĂ©.
Return via the chain ferry so please ensure you’ve got money for lunch and the ferry

Planned route is 85 miles

For those wanting to make up a century you can add a few miles to and from the start/ finish

Pace will be slower than a normal “A” ride, probably around 16 MPH

Apologies for the pace of this weeks ride, my fault as I was on the front most of the time. We will be taking it down a notch in October I promise.

Have a good ride
