Don’t worry about the long stretch on the A35 between Lyndhurst and Ashurst. There is a cycle path alongside the road that is totally suitable for road bikes and road tyres.
Weather forecast is fair so it will be winter pace, avoid getting hot and sweaty and then rapidly cooling and hopefully enjoy a hot drink and some hot food at Steff’s Kitchen.

Weather forecast is fine but a little colder than recent weeks so expect to see fewer bare legs this week! Definitely time to drop to winter pace so riders keep warm but don’t get hot and sweaty.

The roads will be wet again this week so please get those mudguards and winter tyres fitted if you haven’t already. As the weather forecast is not favourable, I’ve kept the route close to home, so we’ve options to cut short if it scores too high on the Phil Harris misery index.
