Club Ride Saturday 1st April



Plan for this week is to keep the two lap format to allow any riders doing the Round the Forest to recover after a shorter ride and to accommodate those who don’t need / want big mileage.

Usual meet at 0850 for 0900 depart at the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Lap 1 out via Rhinefield, Bolderwood, Moyles Court, Harbridge, Alderholt, Rockbourne. Return via Fordingbridge, Stuckton, Poulner, Crow and coffee stop in Burley after 66Km.

Lap 2 Lyndhurst Road to the A35, back up Bolderwood and a loop around Hyde and back to Brock for 125Km and over 1000M of climbing.

Pace around 27-28Km

Club Ride Saturday 25th March



Looks like a nice sunny day with a strong breeze to contend with. This week we’ll continue the two lap approach to the club ride to accommodate those who want to save a bit of energy for Sundays 2-Up TT and those that want a shorter ride.

Usual meet at 0850 for 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Out via Burley Road, Setthorns, Sway, Pilley, Norleywood, East Boldre, Beaulieu, Ipley Cross, Lyndhurst, Emery Down, Bolderwood and coffee and cake at Brockenhurst. That will be 60K for loop 1.  Julie’s been baking for Comic Relief so all welcome and there will be a tin for any donations you may wish to make for Comic Relief.

Second loop for those looking for more distance and more climbing back over Bolderwood and around Hyde for another 50K to make 110K in total and another 1000M climbing day.

Club Ride – Saturday 18th March



Keeping the two lap format again this week to enable those wanting a shorter ride or who are saving themselves for Sundays TT an option.

Usual meet at 0850 for 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Lap 1 out via Bolderwood, Emery Down, Bartley, Ashurst, Colbury, Applemore, Beaulieu, Bucklers Hard, Pilley and back to Rosie Leas at Setley Ridge for coffee after 65K.

Lap 2 a second loop going back over Bolderwood and round Ogdens and Buddle Hill, returning via Red Shoot and Bolderwood to ensure some good climbing meters for a total of 120K.


Pace circa 27-28KMH depending on who’s out.
