Club Ride – Saturday 27th January

Unfortunately the weather forecast for Saturday does not look very promising at the moment. So, with that in mind this weeks club ride will be relatively short and kept local to allow for short cuts / changes / emergency coffee stops.
Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Out via Rhinefield, Bolderwood, Emery Down and Lyndhurst. Then onto Beaulieu Road, Ipley Cross, Beaulieu, East End, Lymington. Back via Sway, Burley and Rhinefield for a total of 79Km.

But given the conditions things may change on the day.

Club Ride Saturday 13th January

Looks like a cold dry day for the club ride this week. Plan will be to meet at the usual point in the car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst at 0850 for an 0900 depart.
Out via Balmer Lawn, Beaulieu, Exbury, Lepe, Calshot, Blackfield, Dibden Purlieu, Applemore. Then head for hone via Ipley Cross, Beaulieu (possible coffee stop if we’re cold) but probably onto Bucklers Hard, East End, East Boldre and back to Brock via Hatchet Pond and Mill Lane and final stop at Setley Ridge about bout 80Km.
Steady pace so should do the 80Km in around 3 hours.

Club Ride – Saturday 6th January

Base training continues this week with a fairly standard 50 mile / 3 hour ride around the forest. I’m working this week so Phil G will lead the ride and keep it to pace.
Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Out via 10 bends towards Burley, left in Burley and up to Braggers Lane, onto Crow, Poulner, Harbridge and north to Whitsbury. Turn for home back via Fordingbridge, Stuckton, Hyde, Ogdens, Moyles Court, Red Shoot, Bolderwood and back to Brock.
We have a new coffee stop in Brock to try so Phil will lead out to there and hopefully if work permits I’ll join you for coffee without having earned it.
The exact location of the coffee stop is being kept secret so that Phi H does not know when to sprint to secure his place first in the queue.
Have a good ride and hope to see you all about 1200 on Saturday.
