Thursday Night Chain Gang - 25th July

This week the chain gang will be back to the Brockenhurst / Burley loop. Depart from St Saviours Church in Brock at 1900 sharp.

Last weeks trip up and down the airfield road at Fritham was a good alternative and we'll plan to alternate courses for the next few weeks.

Club Ride - Saturday 20th July

This weeks ride will be a 50 mile / 3 hour ride form Brock. Plan as follows:

Depart Brockenhurst 0900
Hinchelsea, Setthorns, Pitmore Lane, Pilley, Norleywood, St Leonards, Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu, Hilltop, Lepe, Calshot, Blackfield, Hilltop, Dibden Purlieu, Ipley Cross, Beaulieu, Hatchet Pond, Brock via Mill Lane (Balmer Lane Road closed). Back around 1200.

Chain Gang - Thursday 18th July

Chain Gang will be running again this Thursday but on a different course. We're going to try out the airfield road between Forest Road and the Red Shoot to Bolderwood Road. Meet at Janesmoor Pond Car Park for 1900 depart. Janesmoor Pond is on Forest Road between Stoney Cross and the Fritham turning.

The airfield road was resurfaced a few weeks ago and will give as 2.5 miles each way for as many circuits as we want. If riders fall off thay can wait for the returning pack and rejoin.

Plan to see if this road works better than our Burley loop and maybe alternate between the two.

I'll leave it to the regular riders to plan a route this week as I'll be away.

Suggest meet as usual at Brock 0900 Saturday and pick one of the previous routes.

I'll be back next week so normal service will be resumed.
