Club Rides - Saturday 2nd August

Having a bit of trouble getting routes saved in the new Garmin site so here’s the plan for tomorrow without any Garmin files:

Forecast is for rain to plan is to keep local and ride 1, 2 or 3 loops of 16-17 miles around Brockenhurst

Lap 1
Car park, Brookley Road, Balmer Lawn, Hatchet Pond, East Boldre, Norleywood, Pilley, Shirley Holms, Sway War Memorial, Sway Road, Brockenhurst

Lap 2
Brock, Rhinefield Road, A35, Lyndhurst Road, Burley Lawn, Mill Lane, White Buck, Wilverely, Brock

Lap 3 (A ride)
Rhinefield Road, Bolderwood, Emery Down, Lyndhurst, Beaulieu, Hatchet Pond, Brock

Hope to see the brave ones out tomorrow, remember Rule 9

Rule #9
“If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Fair-weather riding is a luxury reserved for Sunday afternoons and wide boulevards. Those who ride in foul weather – be it cold, wet, or inordinately hot – are members of a special club of riders who, on the morning of a big ride, pull back the curtain to check the weather and, upon seeing rain falling from the skies, allow a wry smile to spread across their face. This is a rider who loves the work.”
