Last club ride of the year and chance to ride off a bit of the
Christmas excess. Standard winter ride format of a 80Km / 3 hour loop of the forest.
Trying to keep to the roads that are less likely to have too much debris from
the storms. If anybody knows of any trees down or any hazards on the route
please advise.
Meet at the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst
behind Sainsbury’s at 0850 for a 0900 depart.
Out via Bolderwood, Emery Down, Minstead, Bartley,
Woodlands, Ashurst, Colbury, Ipley Cross, Beaulieu Road and Beaulieu. Option
for a coffee stop at Steph’s Kitchen at 50Km or at Rosie Leas’s at the end.
Back via Bucklers Hard, Norleywood, Pilley, Setthorns and
Brock. Steady winter pace of around 26KmH.
