No club ride planned for this Saturday. Most of the regular riders are assisting with ride leadership duties for the Shut Up Legs ride this week (thanks again to all the volunteers)

Meet at 0850 for a 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst as usual.
A 115Km hilly loop to the north taking in a couple of roads we haven’t used very often. There is a stretch along the A338 but we can use the shared use footpath / cyclepath from the end of Downtown as we did when we did this route in July. Mid ride coffee stop at the community shop in Broad Chalke.
Return via Sixpenny Handley and the end of the route we normally use for the Shaftsbury Century ride.

Meet at 0850 for a 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst as usual. A number of the usual ride leaders will be on a British Cycling course this weekend so please makes sure you’ve downloaded the route and step into the place of the ride leaders.
This week a 115Km ride around the forest. Coffee stop planned for The Potting Shed. Stop comes a little later than usual (80Km) so please ensure that you’ve got sufficient food to get through to about 1200.

This weeks route takes us out past Hatchett Pond, Ipley Cross, Ashurst and Bartley before heading up to Furzley, Bramshaw hill, The old airfileld and then returning to Brock via Bolderwood and Rhinefield.

Expecting the group to be a little smaller this week as a number of riders heading west to see the Tour of Britain and more going over to the IOW on Sunday. Also, this weekend is the Beaulieu Autojumble which is quite a large event so giving that area a wide berth.
Ride will head out west towards Ringwood and then noth to Whitsbury. Back to The Potting Shed for coffee a little earlier than usual at around 60Km. Then a hilly circuit to finish around Woodgreen and Nomansland.
