Following discussions on this weeks ride, provisional plan for this Saturday will be a loop of the Isle of Wight. Final decision to be made later in the week once we have a bit more certainty of the weather. Will be catching the 0840 ferry and doing one of the standard 65 mile round hte island routes. Which way will depend on which way the winds blowing. Pace will be kept steady 26-27KmH.

After last weeks washout looks like we should have a dry mild day for this weeks ride. Plan for this week will be a trip to Stockbridge and a coffee stop at the Woodfire or if it’s busy an extra few Km to the John Lewis farm shop.
Usual meet at 0850 for 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Out via Balmer Lawn, Beaulieu, Ipley Cross, Ashurst, Woodlands, Bartley, West Wellow, Shootash, Awbridge, Mottisfont, Houghton and Stockbridge for a stop after 57Km.
Return same distance but after West Wellow back via Bramshaw, Ocknells Plain, Bolderwood and Brock.
Winter pace, circa 25-26KmH, and if you haven’t yet please get round to fitting winter tyres and mudguards as the roads are still pretty filthy.

Looks like some nice mild weather for autumn riding this week.
Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Out via Balmer Lawn, Beaulieu, North Road, Ipley Cross, Applemore. Loop around Calshot and Lepe and back to Beaulieu for coffee at Steph’s Kitchen. Then Bucklers Hard, Lymington, Burley and back to Brock for 96Km.Hopefully fewer punctures than when we did this route last month.
Winter riding pace so probably around 26KmH, winter tyres and mudguards order of the day.
