Looks like a nice sunny day with a strong breeze to contend
with. This week we’ll continue the two lap approach to the club ride to accommodate
those who want to save a bit of energy for Sundays 2-Up TT and those that want
a shorter ride.
Usual meet at 0850 for 0900 depart from the main car park in
Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Out via Burley Road, Setthorns, Sway, Pilley, Norleywood,
East Boldre, Beaulieu, Ipley Cross, Lyndhurst, Emery Down, Bolderwood and
coffee and cake at Brockenhurst. That will be 60K for loop 1. Julie’s been baking for Comic Relief so all
welcome and there will be a tin for any donations you may wish to make for
Comic Relief.
Second loop for those looking for more distance and more
climbing back over Bolderwood and around Hyde for another 50K to make 110K in
total and another 1000M climbing day.
