Very high winds forecast for Saturday and not conducive to
peloton style riding so the plan is to take the club ride off road this week.
Meet at the usual place in the main car park in Brookley Road Brockenhurst.
Route will be out via Sway Road and onto the old railway line towards Wootton
Bridge. Opportunity for those coming from the South West to meet us there. Then
onto Holmlsey back on the railway line, Castle Hill, under the A35, Shobley,
Red Shoot, and back to Brock via Bolderwood. Coffee stop at Melt in
Brockenhurst around 1200 and then those that want a longer ride can plan part
B. Route just under 60Km.
Pace will be dependent on riders / equipment. Cross or MTB’s
and pace will be kept to suit any MTB riders.
