Forecast for Saturday is for very high winds so the planned
ride to Shaftsbury will be deferred as the conditions are not suitable for road
based peloton riding. So this week it will be an off road ride keeping as much
as possible to the marked cycle paths around the forest.
Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from main car park in
Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
We’ll head out towards Sway and then onto the old railway
towards Wootton Bridge and pick up anybody that’s starting from down that way.
I’ve marked out a rough 80Km route as per the link below but
there may be a few changes on the day if people know better paths and for
diversions for coffee.
