Club Ride – Saturday 14th September

As there is a large sportive in the forest on Saturday, we’ll take the club ride out of their way and use the roads around Sowley and Lepe for the main part of the ride this week.

Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.

Out via Balmer Lawn, then a loop around East Boldre, Sowley, Bucklers Hard to Beaulieu. Another loop around Exbury, Lepe, Calshot, Fawley and back to Dibden Purlieu. Return to Beaulieu and down through Norleywood, Pilley and Boldre for a coffee stop at Mabel’s in Shallowmeads Nursery.

Back to Brock via Setthorns for a total distance of 92Km

Then the sportive riders should be off the forest roads and for the mileage monsters option of a additional loop back over Rhinefield, Red Shoot, North Gorley etc
