Start of the winter riding season so time to start thinking
about winter tyres and mudguards. But hopefully not required this week as
weather looks fair.
Club ride this week will be a loop around the forest with a
coffee stop at the always welcoming Café Velo in Ringwood. A relatively short
route which should help anybody wishing to join the Saturday ride for the first
time.
Usual meet at 0850 for an 0900 depart from the main car park
in Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
Out via Sway Road, Boldre, Pilley, Norleywood, East Boldre
and Beulieu. Onto Ipley Cross and back to Beaulieu Road and onto Lyndhurst. Through
the garage (thanks Phil B for showing me that shortcut to take Lyndhurst out).
Then onto Emery Down, up to Bolderwood, Red Shoot, Poulner and off to Café Velo.
Return via Burley for 82Km.
